GANNI

For this project, we were asked to explore our DNA as designers, and pick a brand to produce a collection for.

I chose to produce a collection for 'GANNI'. A brand that I felt closely aligns with my own aesthetic and allowed me to fully explore my own capabilities as designer. I chose to produce a collection for a brand that produces Denim and allowed me to further explore it's design process.

This project, entitles 'I'm normally in bed at this time', draws its inspiration from the experience of staying inside in your room, and hanging out with your cat, drawing from my own bedroom and cat for inspiration. I also felt inspiration from my sisters and the work of the band The 1975. Of whom i have been a long time fan.
